THE STARTING FIVE

The first Type Team: five fonts of five kinds built on one rhythm, the same heights, stem weights and spacing, so any mix reads as one voice. POINT GUARD (a humanist sans) runs the interface, SHOOTING GUARD (wide display) takes the shot, SMALL FORWARD (text serif) does the long reading, POWER FORWARD (slab) holds the labels, CENTER (mono) owns the numbers. This is the team file: one font that holds all five and casts itself as you type. A run of three or more capitals takes the display cut, a run of figures takes the mono cut, and stylistic sets 1 to 4 call the serif, the slab, the mono or the display by hand. The five players come in the download too, each as its own font, with the playbook. Regular and Bold.

Styles: Regular, Bold. Files: TTF for Mac, PC and websites. Commercial use is included in every licence.
